Description of Project:

Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) comprising studies on flora fauna, social and environmental issues associated with the feasibility study of river diversion works from Sg. Talong - Sengoh to the Pergau reservoir. The proposed diversion tunnels are about 20km long with diameters varying from 3-4m. The proposed project will produce 357GWh/annum additional peaking energy from the Pergau Power Station but will cause a reduction of about 130GWh/annum at the Temenggor Power Station. The net energy gained from this project is 226GWh/annum will be made available to be used in the TNB system.

Services Provided:

Formulating the EMP based on the data supplied by other consultants and compiling the complete Detailed EIA report for the Client.
